Our caregivers teach the children through songs and play that Jesus loves them and that they are wonderfully made.
Please make sure your child’s diaper bag has the following items:
- Three to four disposable diapers
- A complete change of clothes.
- Any item your child may need for security reasons.
- A bottle of milk, juice, or water.
- Please label all personal items with your child’s first and last name to help us keep track of their personal belongings.
LittleVille Preschool & Beyond
(Ages 3 - 4 years old and Kindergarten - 1st grade)
The teachers use various curriculums to impart basic biblical truths and to begin to build a strong foundation.
When you arrive
Please let the teacher/caregiver know of any information that will help in caring for your child such as feeding times, sleeping times, allergies or any other special needs. If for any reason your child may need you during the service, you will be promptly paged.
Checking on your child
Feel free to check on your child any time during the service. However, we ask that you do so discreetly, trying not to let your child see you.
Saying good-bye
After you have checked your child into their class, wave a quick good-bye and leave for the service. As you know, it is normal for little ones to cry when leaving a parent. This does not last long and separation will become easier over time. Our teachers will immediately try to create interest in a toy or activity and give assurance that you will be back after the service. If your child cries for an extended period of 10 minutes, we will page you.
Pick-up procedures
At checkout time, we will ask that you present your identification badge so that we can match it to your child’s badge. Once matched, your child will be returned to you along with his/her personal belongings. Please make sure you have received all your child’s personal belongings. A child will not be released without a matching identification badge and children will only be released to an adult.
Your child's health
To ensure the health of children and volunteers, we ask that sick children do not attend, if the following exist: fever (over 99.5 degrees), vomiting or diarrhea within the last 24 hours, any symptom of childhood diseases such as scarlet fever, German measles, mumps, chicken pox or whooping cough, common cold - from onset through one week, sore throat, croup, any unexplained rash, any skin infection - boils, ringworm or impetigo, untreated pink eye or other eye infection, any communicable disease, lice, including the presence of eggs or nits. These are the guidelines that we follow and we expect that a child or volunteer be free of fever for 24 hours attending.
